Our Plan
ENHANCE REPRESENTATION
We will ensure that the EXCO has a fair representation of disciplines. We will recruit broadly and get other designers involved. We will also aim to increase the number of design entrepreneurs from the newer disciplines such as gaming design to join the DAS.
INCLUSIVE IDENTITY AND LEADERSHIP
We will ensure that the brand identity and messaging of the DAS is inclusive and showcases all the disciplines that are part of the association. We will also work to include more women and a diversity of races. We will practice a more consultative form of leadership and, as much as possible, include all members in our discussions via blogs and emails.
SINGAPORE’S ONLY MULTI-DISCIPLINARY ASSOCIATION
We will tap into this unique opportunity and engage members to work across disciplines. We will also promote the DAS as increasingly relevant in the new economy as an integrated body of professional designers.
