Let “Safety Starts With Me”!


Organised by the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), the “Safety Starts With Me” Competition offers you the platform to showcase your creativity and talent, and the chance to gain recognition and reward for your creative work.
Working on the topic of “Work safety. Our lives. Our responsibility”; you may send us your entry in the form of a photography, poster, video clip or story. Your work should convey your views about the importance of workplace safety and the impact of workplace injury to the wider community.
Your entry may be a single or group submission.
Entries will be judged on thematic relevance and originality; content; language and writing style in bringing across “Work safety. Our lives. Our responsibility”. In addition, winning entries may also be used as publicity collaterals for future WSH Council outreach programmes and promotional activities.

The Competition is open to members of the public with categories of participation ranging from students (primary to tertiary level) and working adults (all open categories). Unleash your creativity and help spread the message of workplace safety and health today. Send in your winning entry now!

The competition opens NOW. Competition closes on Wednesday, 31 March 2010.

Safety Starts With Me Competition 2009

Dear fellow associates,

The Workplace Safety and Health Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower has launched the Safety Starts With Me competition 2010.Through this competition we aim to spread the awareness of workplace safety and health issues to everyone as well as promote the ‘Safety Starts With Me’ theme. The tagline for this year is Work safety. Our lives. Our responsibility. The competition ends on 31 March 2010. Winners can expect to win attractive prizes up to $5000 in cash. Attached is a poster with some details.
